Four Naxalites of PLFI arrested in Simdega, arms and ammunition recovered
Police on Sunday arrested four hardcore Naxalites of the banned Naxalite Organization People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) from Kanarowan forest under Bano police station in Simdega district of Jharkhand and recovered loaded indigenous rifles and cartridges from them.
Giving this information, Simdega Superintendent of Police, Shams Tabrez said that a rifle, 12 bore cartridges, three rounds of 315 bore, three mobiles, 8 chargers, a magazine etc. were recovered from the four PLFI militants.
Tabrez said that the police had received information that militants of Naxalite organization PLFI are roaming in the Kanarwa forest and remote rural areas of Bano police station. He said that in the light of information, police started raids.
He said that the militants started fleeing as soon as the police got a call during the raid, but the police ran and caught them.
